Dr. Wayne Eisenhart has learned by experience the truth of the time-honored maxim, "People are alike all over."

More specifically, Eisenhart, an international business consultant based in Santa Rosa, California observes that businesspeople worldwide encounter many of the same challenges. Eisenhart chuckles heartily when talking about his various stories and adventures during his business travels - how he was humorously forgiven by his hosts when he had on a number of occasions inadvertently made crude gestures and insulted the local religion or culture, eating fried bees and grasshoppers in China, enjoying a steaming, quite delicious platter of pig face in the Philippines, riding in a limo down a special traffic lane with high Communist party officials past a 100 foot tall statue of Mao, landing at an African airport and seeing the burned pieces of a crashed airliner scattered down the runway with the terminal surrounded by grim rifle totting soldiers.  He talks about relaxing with a cocktail in the executive club lounge of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur and looking at the Petronis Towers, (one of the tallest buildings in the world) when a body dropped by the window.  He soon found out there was a base jumping contest going on!

Other stories include enjoying spicy food and dancing to wonderful West African High Life Music at a Ghanaian nightclub on a warm equatorial beach and being interviewed on CNBC Asia in Singapore. He confesses that he and his wife have come to enjoy flying business class, being met at the airport with a limo, staying on the executive club floors of 5-star hotels, and having competent multilingual staff assigned to them as personal concierges.  "It's a tough life style," he said.

Speaking and  consulting internationally while immersing himself in many cultures has helped him refine the profit-building methods for which businesses around the world seek his expertise. "I call myself a hard consultant," he says, "meaning that I focus on specific, targeted, practical solutions that can be implemented and show results quickly, rather than offering a cookie-cutter approach to business problems. I stick to the fundamentals and always focus on getting the bottom line up first and foremost."
